Post Show Report of Last Edition
The ‘World Organic Expo-2019’ and concurrent shows ‘International Agriculture & Horti Expo’, ‘Food & Technology Expo’ and ‘Govt. Achievements & Schemes Expo- 2019’ and was organized by ‘NNS Media Group’ on 1-2-3 August, 2019 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The main objective of the Expo was to bring the Organic Foods and Organic Agri. Commodities, Organic Beverages, Organic Health & Fitness Products, Organic Food Processing and Packaging based technologies, related service providers, growers, consumers and government departments on one platform and provide them the opportunity to showcase their products/services and form fruitful market alliance.
The focus of the expo was to showcase the advancements in Organic Food, Organic Health Food, Organic Pulses, Organic Grains, Organic Oil Seeds, Organic Tea, Organic Herbs & Herbal Products, Organic Fresh Fruits & Vegetables, Organic Nuts, Organic Sugar, Organic Wheat, Organic Farming, Organic Farms, Organic Certification and Inspection, schemes & achievements of the government departments etc.
The expo was inaugurated by Shri Ramdas Athawale, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister, Govt. of India.
The Hon’ble Minister visited various stalls and also held discussions with the exhibitors. Addressing the expo he said events such as this spread awareness among the masses about various peoples’ welfare schemes of the government.

120+ exhibitors participated in the ‘World Organic Expo-2019 and concurrent shows’.
Visitors
The expo received very enthusiastic response from the visitor’s point of view. Thousands of people from more than 25 states of India including far off states like Kerala, Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Nagaland, Odisha, Himachal, UP, Punjab, Haryana, etc. came all the way to visit the expo. The visitors used the opportunity to update themselves about the various schemes, activities and achievements of the government ministries and departments.
The majority of exhibitors were satisfied with the response they received at the expo and were happy to confirm that they would continue their participation next year.
Workshop on Organic Farming
Workshops on organic farming were held concurrently with the expo. Progressive farmers immensely benefitted by the presentations made by the scientists and experts in organic farming.
